1. How can I get Myanmar Visa?

Valid passport with entry visa is required for all travellers to Myanmar. A visa can be obtained at any Myanmar embassy or consulate abroad. Both Tourist Visa and Business Visa can be applied via online at http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/ with the processing fees, US $50 for Tourist and 70$ for Business. We can handle the visa process for you.

2. Can I buy travel insurance in Myanmar?

It is advisable to purchase travel insurance in your own country. Please choose a reputable insurance company who has an agent in Myanmar.

3. Is it safe to visit Myanmar?

As for the general safety of tourists, we assure that Myanmar is particularly safe for tourists than other neighbouring countries as Myanmar people are known for their hospitality and friendliness under the teachings and practices of Buddhism. Nevertheless, low crime does not mean no crime and you will still need to conscious for your own safety.

4. Can I use credit cards and travellers cheques in Myanmar?

Credit cards can be used in most major hotels and restaurants in Myanmar. But travellers’ cheques are not widely used here. You can even take out cash with your Credit Cards at ATM machine in some major areas (This service is subject to internet connection and electricity which are unstable in Myanmar.). However, it is advisable that all travellers bring enough money in USD cash for your convenience during your stay in Myanmar.

5. What is the next step after I made a reservation with you?

After you made a reservation with us for your trip, we will send you the quotation and it is acceptable, we will do arrangements such as domestic air seats, hotel accommodations and other land arrangements including assigned the suitable guide for you. Then in order to secure your reservation, you have to remit a 30 % deposit of entire tour cost to our bank account.

6. What is included in your tour services?

Our tour quotation generally includes domestic airfare, accommodation, transfer with private air-con car, domestic air fares, sightseeing with language speaking guide. Lunch, dinner, entrance for special places and visa fees are optional, except International departure tax and personal expenses.

7. What kinds of meals do you serve during the tour?

Breakfast will be served at the hotels during the tour. Lunch and dinner is optional and if requested it will be served at quality local restaurants with Myanmar and Chinese cuisines.

8. Will I receive refund in case of cancellation?

It is as per our terms and conditions.

9. Is tipping customary in Myanmar?

Tipping is not customary in Myanmar but it is much appreciated and it absolutely depends on your satisfaction with the service. With most people earning a low wage in Myanmar, a modest tip will be accepted graciously by most.

10. Can I get Myanmar Visa upon my arrival?

Yes, Visa on Arrival is only valid for Business, Research, Transit travellers and Crew. Please be noted that Visa on Arrival for tourists is no longer available and E-Visa can be applied for Tourist.
Passport holder from 53 countries can apply the Visa on Arrival (VOA) for special occasion. And you must sent your personal data, flight detail and two recent passport size photos by email to our company at least 1 month prior to your arrival. Then we will apply the Visa on Arrival (VOA) for you. (The policy can be changed without notice).

11. Can I bring my mobile phone into Myanmar?

Yes, you can bring your mobile phone and change the local SIM card which you can easily buy at every corner of street in big cities to avoid international roaming charges.

12. How can I contact my home from Myanmar?

Mobile phones and SIM cards are widely sold at every corner of the streets in cities. And mostly all hotels have IDD phone system and you can make overseas calls to your home.
